Ledger and double entry
The ledger is an immutable journal of posted operations and the single source of truth for accounting data. Double entry works from day one and in both modes, so the balance sheet, cost of goods and exchange differences are calculated without re-entering history.
Plan All plans. On the free plan postings are created but hidden behind simple mode. What is inside
- The chart of accounts comes from the country profile and is extended for your organization
- Posting: date, debit and credit accounts with analytics, amount, currency, rate, source document
- Operation statuses: draft, posted, reversed
- A posted operation is immutable, a correction is only a reversal with a reason and the original rate
- Your own analytics dimensions on top of the standard ones: counterparty, contract, warehouse, project
- Off-balance accounting, document numbering with prefixes, marking for deletion with restore
- Edit lock up to a date: global, per user and per document type
- One document journal and navigation from posting to document and back
Limits
A posted operation cannot be changed or deleted. This is a deliberate decision: a correction is made by reversal and is visible in the history, so last month’s report cannot be quietly rewritten.
Frequently asked questions
Can I change the chart of accounts?
Yes. The standard chart of accounts of the country comes from the profile, and you add accounts, subaccounts and required analytics for your organization. The origin of each account is visible: the country profile or your addition.
What if a posting is wrong?
Reverse it with a reason and post the correct operation. Both entries stay in the history, and the reversal takes the rate of the original operation, so exchange differences do not appear out of nowhere.
Are there off-balance accounts?
Yes, the off-balance ledger is kept separately and goes into its own report.
