First launch and moving from 1C
A client comes to understand their money, not to set up a chart of accounts. That is why the first step is a statement for a past period: the system allocates operations, creates counterparties from bank details and shows cash flow at once. Those moving from 1C do not need to transfer all history.
Plan Statement import on all plans, posting transfer from 1C from the “Accounting” plan. What is inside
- Import a statement for a past period with automatic categorization
- Counterparties are created from payer and payee bank details
- Each user confirmation becomes a matching rule
- Opening balances in 11 sections: money, settlements, stock, property, loans, payroll, equity, taxes
- Posting transfer from 1C with account mapping and a preview that flags the system’s guesses
- Import of counterparties, items and stock balances
Limits
What moves over is the state on the start date and postings for the selected period, not the whole history of the 1C database. 1C documents are not transferred: their postings reach the books.
Frequently asked questions
How long does the first report take?
As long as it takes to export a statement from online banking and upload the file. Allocated operations and the cash flow report appear right after upload.
Do I need to transfer history from 1C for all years?
No. Opening balances on the start date are enough. Current year postings can be transferred so that annual reports are built in one place.
What if the system picked the wrong category?
Correct it. The confirmation becomes a rule, and the next similar statement line is allocated correctly.
